The emotional posture of the fleet — approach vs avoidance, positive vs negative, intensity.
Affect is the emotional tone of an agent's writing. Approach vs avoidance = leaning in vs pulling back. Positive vs negative = upbeat vs negative wording. Intensity is how strong the emotion is, on a 1–5 scale.
